Fuelling Your AmbitionIn the literal term, a fuel does help in the combustion or burning of a material. During combustion processes, it is a common phenomenon that the fire might go off if fuel is not added to sustain or increase the power of the flame. What is fuel to one material does not necessarily constitute fuel to the other. Different materials or substances need a specific fuel for ignition to occur.
The desire, drive or determination to be successful, rich, powerful, great or famous in life needs to be constantly maintained and ignited or else mediocrity will set in within the space of time. Some men died without ambition, others built a castle in the air with their ambition, without the energy to actualize them, but few men persistently followed with grit, sense of purpose and hard work to put legs on which the castle they have built in the air can stand. What a huge loss it would have been if our great inventors, reformers and researchers had done a half job because of lack of energy, enthusiasm and passion to overcome challenges and difficulties that confronted them. Whatever you desire to be and achieve, throw your mind, might, strength, heart and soul into it and success will crown you.
The road less traveled on is paved with our dreams and ambitions and though rough and rugged we need not be tired but refire regardless of the barriers we encounter to actualize our desires and acquire a legacy for generation yet unborn. This year you are not permitted to have a miscarriage of dreams and ideas because there is enough power with God and within you to deliver conceived ideas. Don’t let the passion die, but keep the fire burning continually upon the altar of your heart and your face set like a flint until your ambitions are realized.
There is need for you to identify your own fuel and constantly inject it into your ambition to produce the needed energy and power to carry on. Here are seven tips on how to fuel your ambition:
1. Write down your ambition or dream
2. Make it plain or clear by assigning definite time for the accomplishment of each dream
3. Read and meditate on the written vision everyday until the vision is written in your heart
4. Take action everyday towards your goals
5.Develop faith and determination to be successful at all cost and achieve your dreams, by affirming that you can do it
6. Give attendance to reading and listening to vision driven speakers. Read the bible, motivational books and biographies of successful people
7. You need patience and prayer to give birth to conceived ideas; delay is not denial WAIT for your dream until it comes true.
You have a bright and enviable destiny; don’t give up you will succeed.
